Creating a new thread. It seems this is a common problem with Mini series. I was hoping they would figure this one out by now...
My 906 takes forever to acquire GPS lock (like 15 minutes) Anyone else?

My GPS locks within 1 minute. Inside of the car-of course.I was surprised...and very happy...

Ive found out why my 0906 doesnt get a gps fix. The other dashcam is too close to the gps bracket. After removing the Sg9665gc I get a valid signal

Hold ok button in and keep holding when you power on. To exit, power off.

As you can see by the pic too, the 0906 are not really right up against the SG9665GC V3, and its GPS mouse are further to the left in the upper corner of windscreen.

Took less than 1 minute for this cold boot.

O you can also see the warped plastic next to the LED's from my heating up camera for refocusing.

That is why the mini dash camera is much more difficult to design, produce, and maintain.
even a small GPS will suffer us a lot.

If you remove the rear cam, you will found the blue bars grow a lot.
means, the rear cam also bring interference to the GPS.
