GS1000 / GS5000 GPS Accuracy Issue

In case anyone is having trouble with GPS accuracy on their GS1000 / GS5000, you may want to try the following software (shared from our forum member Densor). It is designed for the GS8000 but works correctly. Might be a solution for the GS1000 models.

Sorry, this is a bit off topic because it's not about accuracy and not about the GS1000 or GS5000... But my GS2000 seems to have trouble picking up the GPS signal sometimes. I would say that about 20-30% of the recorded videos display a speed of 0 km/h. Do you know what might be causing this and perhaps what I can try to eliminate this problem?

Hi Rehan,

Not catching the satellites is usually due to the positioning of the unit. Perhaps it is too high up on the windshield and the roof of the car is blocking the satellites. Try positioning it lower to see if that helps. Another issue may be the internal GPS antenna is being blocked by something inside the camera itself (perhaps the metal mount). This is more common in the Blue Menu GS1000 cameras so it may not be a problem with the GS2000 (different design).

I want to share some info about the GPS player tool for GS-series Car Dash.
Today two good customer shared me some useful info.
One customer who bought GS5000 from us(FoxOffer) and find GUI problem with the GPS player tools, I also find this problem if run this tool on win7 64bit .
This afternoon he told me he solved this problem by himself and send me two links about the new gps player tool.
Another customer who bought the GS9000 also send me a link about the new gps player tool.
I checked all the links and new tools.
