GS5000 Motion Detection settings

I have a strange issue.
I set Motion Detection in settings (say, to High) and it works fine.
However, if I turn cam off and then turn it on - MD setting defaults to NO (no MD set).

If camera is installed in a car - it will not start recording automatically since MD is not set when ignition is on.
Also, camera will not turn off by itself, meaning if installed in a car it will work until battery is depleted completely.
I have it set-up "Auto-off time" to 1 minute. It won't turn-off in one minute.
Any input on the issue will be appreciated.

Try resetting defaults and choose your settings again, sounds like you have something set wrong

If it still does it though it may just be a firmware problem or faulty product

Did factory reset - did not help. Trying to find info on firmware update.
