A couple of questions -
  • Despite updating the firmware this month, adjusting the settings and hearing the audible comment "connected to the cloud", NOTHING ever uploads.
  • My phone has the habit of clinging on to the BlackVue wi-fi once it is parked and I've been in the living room watching television all evening. Is this eating into my dashcam sim data ?
I'll be honest, I'm beginning to get a little disappointed with this device. It seems over complicated and as a result, over-priced. The software seems rather clunky as well.
 
Did you go to the "Live Event Upload" section of the firmware and select the types of video you want sent to the cloud?
 
Have you tried manually saving to the cloud to see if it works? It will only send impacts to the cloud or the clips you upload to it.
 
I have the same issue with the 750x+.

I can manually upload events to the cloud but it won’t upload them automatically which is the main feature of these cameras.

Pretty sure I have already done that, but will check again.
 
Well I would contact Blackvue if you can get them to answer and ask which firmware it works on.
