Hardwire Kit Problems?

What is the latest news on the hardwire kits? I am reading that some are bad and some are not.

I have three 0906 setups, all with the same hardwire kit (see attached). Two were purchased in September, one in November. All three are now having problems and no longer keep the camera powered. They did work great for a while, wired to both Acc and On. I have tried adjusting the power setting to the 11.8v cut-off, but no luck. I have now removed them so the cameras will work.

So, is it official that there is a bad batch?
