Hi All, just purchased a new car with Micro2 fuses, I am informed that the lowest of these fuses is 5amp. I have removed my hardwire kit from my old car that had Mini fuses and a Mini fuse fuse tap, my 522 Dashcam was protected by a 2 amp fuse which I believe is what it requires. I am looking to buy a Micro2 fuse tap but struggling to get a 2amp fuse. Others must have overcome this problem. All advice will be appreciated. Many thanks.

I have always used 5 A fuse for the added dashcam circuit in my car, this have also allowed me to run several systems and up to 9 cameras on the same fuse tap

You can also just put a bigger A fuse in the add a circuit adapter and then on the wire from that insert a inline glass fuse, which i do believe you can get as 2 A, but that of course mean a little extra work.
But doing it that way the small inline fuse will of course blow before what ever size you put in the adapter to sort of just bridge that gap.
If you are tapping into a 10 A fuse i would of course not use a 30 A fuse to bridge in front of the inline fure you put in, but another 10 A should be fine.

kamkar, the idea of an inline fuse is great and easy to do. I follow what you are saying about the fuse tap. Thanks for responding.
