For a brand new primetime show about UK road crashes, near misses, scrapes and escapes, ITV are looking for footage filmed on dash cams and helmet cams by road users across the country.

As well as featuring the clips themselves, we are looking to tell the stories behind some of these clips, and speak to those involved.

Please get in touch if you have a clip you think we could use in the show. We'd also like to know if you might be interested in appearing on camera to talk through your experiences.

Please contact us at caughtoncamera@itn.co.uk - we look forward to hearing from you.

How much are you paying for usage rights?

Hi,

We'd be interested in discussing payment once we've seen the clip. It would be great if you could send over links to the email address above. Also would you be willing to speak on camera?

Thanks,

Good idea for a programme - show a load of Youtube clips, plenty of examples of piss-poor driving.
THEN, invite the police along to ask them why they take no notice of these clips. Ask them why they make it nigh on impossible to report these idiot drivers - a simple addition to the police websites whereby a user can provide a link to a youtube video OR upload a video directly.
Maybe also get the insurance industry along to ask them why they still don't recognise the dashcam as a valuable tool - OK, they do recognise it, but only when it suits them. Use of dashcams should be compulsory.

ITV - falls off chair laughing !

Would be a first to see them broadcast time stamped full hd without using creative editing to create and nice a story!!
