Quick hello, getting my first Dashcam on Monday, Transcend Drive Pro 200 (Amazon.co.uk) not seen many comments about this one, it won best buy in Auto Express 2 Weeks ago, so only time will tell if I've made the right choice. Anybody know where this is made? Anybody using one?

I think that Transcend camera have been mentioned in here, but i cant recall any of the guys using it.
 
Thanks frazzled, while waiting for delivery, I found GuardTrak GT2S, from jokiin (large thread on this forum) just about to be released, looks very impressive, looking likely I will be changing my order.

After you receive it and have time: please share your thought along with original video files ( day, night, pitch dark, sunny, etc ), you may upload them to mega.co.nz and post your thoughts in

Received at weekend, mine had the same fault that a few others have had, unit looses date information overnight, and has to be reset each day, now on the the way back to Amazon for a refund.

Initial impressions of unit as follows.
  • Good quality feel
  • Good packaging and instructions
  • Good quality video
  • Very good wifi Android App
  • Includes 16GB micro sd card class 10
  • Software very poor.
  • Larger than necessary screen mount (unable to place behind rear view mirror)
  • Limited Software options
  • Slow responses from customer service department
  • No accessories Available
If you still want video samples please let me know.
