Viofo A119 V3
I have just got myself a Viofo A119. 2017

Is there a setting that I can keep the picture on all the time.
At present the picture goes off after about 30 secs.

Thanks Guys, Good Forum.

screen saver setting (or whatever it's labeled as) in the menu will have an off function which leaves the display on, personally not something I'd recommend, distracting at night, generates extra heat for no good reason, illegal to have on while driving in some situations (varies by local law but something you should check on)

Thanks jokiin,
Being behind the interior mirror I think this would not be a problem.
I had got used to the old dash cam being on all the time.
I have still got my old dash cam in my van. Now 3 years old, its one of those cheap Chinese ones.
Very good for under £10, but not so good in night vision.
I hope the A119 is better for night use.

A119 will do much better at night I'm sure, if it's hidden from view then I don't really see any advantage in having the display on all the time (you can press a button to wake it up any time you like), all it will do is generate more heat and wear out quicker if it's on constantly

Ahhhhh First fault.

I used the supplied USB cable to power up from Aux' socket in car.
That was ok. Then I went to remove the usb from the camera But, it wont come out. It is stuck fast. I mean Stuck.

Ps. I'm hard wired for camera power.

second fault you'll generally find that the AUX socket in your car doesn't supply enough amperage to run the camera correctly
