When I connect to my pc (windows 10) it says the usb device is not recognized.

The dash cam powers on and starts recording immediately. It does not show a usb icon on the screen like the manual says.

I have tried the included usb cable and another, as well as different usb ports.

Have a look at the devices mode (can't remember how to check)

Some devices have a default mode and a MTP mode

Default mode only shows as a device in Windows explorer whilst MTP mode shows all the folders like a normal device and may help

The E1 Pro dash cam defaults to LTE data mode, so you need to switch it manually to USB mode. First, connect the USB cable to the dash cam. Then stop recording, go to System Setup > USB Mode, and select UDisk Mode.

Just to add that when you have U-disk mode enabled, the E1 Pro will take a little time after connection to a PC before it appears as a removable disk. It has to power up first of all, and then takes a few seconds after that.

I did enable U Disk mode, but still my PC had issues connecting to the camera, i had to unplug it and reinsert the USB plug a few times before it worked.

Windows 10 Computer with not anything special setup
