Long time lurker looking to get some help with this one. My dad picked up a cheapo dash cam from Amazon and I'm hoping to identify the manufacturer so I can hunt down firmware updates for it. Unfortunately he already tossed the packaging and manuals so I'm hoping someone can help.

Here's what I know:

Product page: https://www.amazon.com/gp/B07JW2DM4C
Current firmware: D_D27_211_v51202_181227_GZ3.0-2_106

Photos below of the item including some menus. It also has a rear camera and it's already installed on his CRV.

It's advertised as 1080p recording but it looks like like a 720p upscale :\

He jumped the gun and picked this up and was too stubborn to return it because he got a great "deal" not realizing my brothers and I already pitched in to get him a VIOFO A129 (which will now go in his van). Hopefully some updates to the firmware will improve the quality/functionality of this dashcam.

it's a generic product, no idea who actually makes it but firmware updates is not something that happens for this type of product, be happy if it works and stays working
