How best to view footage on a TV?

I have the Transcend DP200. I would like to view footage on my LG LCD tv. Transcend DP200 package includes a phono dongle for this purpose. However, my tv's video-in phono socket (the yellow one) is female. The included DP200 video output dongle connector socket is also female. Would a simple male to male adaptor suffice?

Also, will footage display on a tv, or will the MOV video format go unrecognised?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

not clear what connectors you're referring to but if the camera has an HDMI output then you need the appropriate Mini HDMI to HDMI cable to connect to the TV

No HDMI output on the DP200, only phono (yellow RCA).

Then it will only give you a low quality standard definition output which won't look too good on a larger screen

If your TV has USB, then get a microsd to USB adapter, plug it in and view that way, using the bundled phono connection looks terrible
