How log should a SD card last?

Hi Everyone,

How long should a Blackvue SD card last and when it finally dies does the hardware somehow inform you of this?

Oh yes. There is a constantly repeated "Check SD card" verbal warning that just goes on and on until you unplug the camera.

Generally i get about 2 years at least on memory cards, some actually a lot more, and a few frighting less.
But card size and how much you drive of course play in, a guy driving 8 hours a day with the camera in his work vehicle will see much more wear than the guy with the camera in his daily driver he use for a hour or two every day.
