How much wattage does it take to run to Mini 2 Dash Camera

Unfortunately the Park Mode failed when my car was backed into which had to be a good hit because the bumper is pushed up and cracked.

So now I am looking at investing in a Portable Power Station to place in vehicle and plug camera into it to run continuously (18-20 hrs)

So I am trying to figure out how many watts I need. I don’t wanna buy to small and surely don’t wanna buy to large!

Any idea??

Doesn't look good, probably fixable without a new bumper, but still going to cost more than the dashcam - it would have paid for itself if it had worked!

So is that 2.3W for the Viofo or just a pretty round off all dash cameras? Mine is a GARMIN.

Yeah insurance deductible is $250. Crazy thing is I paid $215 for the camera and constant power cord. Got it the same day and the crap happened that night while sleeping! Talk about being being upset.

Yes and there was nothing there. I even looked in the unsaved folder on my 512gb card. Garmin customer service apologized their product didn’t meet my expectations and that was the last communication from Garmin!

I looked at all the cars in my apartment complex that doesn’t have security cameras on the outside of their buildings but they got them all over the inside the buildings. There is one SOB I am suspicious of because he drives a pick up truck and it has so much damage all over it including his rear bumper.

Oops, wrong Mini 2! You didn't mention Garmin in your post or title, and I didn't notice the sub forum!

My wattage was for the Viofo A119 Mini 2.

The Garmin uses less power, a little under 2 W.

It’s ok! At least it gave me a ballpark figure! I’m NOT sure why my 1st reply asking if it was for the Viofo or just a round about for dash to you is showing waiting moderator approval
