How well does DVR-xx7 stand up to hot Texas weather?

How well does DVR-xx7 stand up to hot Texas weather? My truck is parked outside.

In the summer, it's usually 95-degrees or higher. There were 47 days when the temps were 100+ this year.

Will leaving the DVR-xx7 dash cam inside the truck shorten its life?
 
Not well at all, my DVR-207GS melted while on the windshield at ambient temperatures of around 100F... If you want something for this climate you're better off looking for dash cams with capacitors and not batteries...
