I can't believe how sensitive the g-sensors are!

I thought it was a fluke to see the g-sensor value showing activity as the camera sat idly in a parked car. But upon closer review, holy smokes this thing is sensitive. In a parking garage, I'm seeing 0.09 units when someone walks past the vehicle.

Today, I noticed it even registered when my neighbor (across the street) shut his trashcan lid. Un-friggin-believable.2015-08-01_16-09-17.jpg

If your ears can detect the event, why shouldn't the sensor?

Although you have to wonder why it is so sensitive...

If I had to take a WAG, I'd say that the sensitivity somehow calibrates itself. When everything is perfectly still, the gain on the sensors must crank to maximum. When driving, it must correspondingly turn itself down, as a 1.28 measurement requires driving over a pretty large divot/reflector/train tracks.

Either way, I like it. It provides a visual indication of activity (while parked) when looking at a long time span in RV.
