Captured some dashcam footage from the $24 DVR and the iPhone5. While the dash cam is amazing for $24, I would rather just have the $70 HD one. The problem with the $24 one is not that it is 640x480 so much as it generally lacks sharpness, which I blame on the lens. The jury on if it is wide-angle enough is still out.

BTW, the HD iPhone-5 footage seems to be hunting on the focus. I focus-locked it for the 640x480.
