Hi,

I have ordered 2 of the x100FHD from yourselves and trying to set it up between other tasks.

2 quick questions if you wouldn't mind.

1. How do I turn off recording the sound? I only need visual.
2. Does the camera record when the car is off? So the power socket is still connected but the key out of the ignition?

Hello,

Apologies about the delayed response. We hadn't subscribed to the post so we hadn't had notification that you had replied. Anyhow, answers below :-

1) You turn off the sound off within the Software - Go into setup, Basic Configuration. Setting "Recording Volume" - Set this to "0". Sound will then no longer be recorded. See picture below :-

2) This depends on the 12V power socket you have the camera plugged into. Some manufactures have this set to constant live, others on ignition live (ie It only becomes available once the key is in the ignition). We recommend that if you wish to have the camera constantly recording, it is hardwired to the cars fuse board (via piggyback fuse) or directly to the battery. We sell hardwire cables for this and they are available to purchase directly from our website. All of our cameras have an option to automatically shut down should your car voltage fall below a pre-set level (Again this is setup within the configuration). This way you’ll always be able to start your car in the morning!
