Is battery explosion a real concern? I can't seem to find conclusive evidence of it happening.

I do have an AC glovebox but that would only work when the engine is on so I suppose it wouldn't help for storage terms....

Unfortunately, living in the UK we don't have to worry to much about constant extremes of weather so i'll keep an eye on how hot the unit gets when parked up...
