Is Mini GPS module compatible with Mini 2?

I have a couple Minis in my car and would like to upgrade to the Mini 2. Can I connect the Mini 2 to the Mini GPS module?

That's great. Now I know I wont have to struggle detaching those two GPS modules from the windshield and the glass tailgate.

Just keep in mind that the viewing angle of the Mini 2 is greater than that of the Mini.
If the Mini is installed too high under the silk-screen printing, then when installing the Mini 2 in its place,
part of the silk-screen printing will fall into the frame.

...until the Mini 2 again used a plastic holder and the problem arose again. Sometimes people have to be 'reminded' more than once before real learning takes place.

You were right about the viewing angle. I had to move the mini GPS module on the windshield about half a centimeter. It's a PITA but it's done now.
