Is the SG9665GC the best all-around? Can it put speed (MPH) on video?

After being wrongly ticketed for speeding a few years ago, I purchased a BlackVue camera from Korea and have had it in my car. It's been okay, but I've had some reliability issues from time to time.

I'm getting a new vehicle (Nissan Rogue) and want to get the best dash cam available. Price is no object (within reason!).

Requirements:
  • Reliable
  • Puts speed (preferably in MPH) on video
  • 1080p
  • Discrete
Would you recommend the SG9665GC, or something else?

We log speed in the SG9665GC but currently its not embedded in the video, SGZC12SG has it embedded

You can embed the GPS data into the video easily afterwards.

Export the clip you want to save using http://registratorviewer.com

Check the box that creates a subtitle file.

Now when you play back in VLC player or YouTube you can see the speed real time on screen.

The speed and map location is displayed while playing back in registratorviewer and dashcamviewer real time as well. There is also a new Android app coming soon that will give full GPS data on screen using the included OTG card reader.
