Is there a "Film" like "Tint" that you can stick on windshield in front of the A129 Lens?

There must be a film that they sell similar to a to a windshield Tint that you can cut a small 1 inch square and Put in front of the A129 camera lens... would it mimic the CPL filter that is not available yet?
Has anyone tried this type of solution to adhere a small patch of film in front of the A129 lens?

Yes, you can buy polarizing sheet film (linear) that could be cut to size. I'm not quite sure how well this idea would work but certainly it might be worth experimenting with.

EDIT: BTW, if you wanted to attach this type of film directly to the windshield itself rather than the lens module a one inch square would not work unless it was very close to the lens itself. You would need a much larger piece of polarizing film to accommodate the wide FOV of the lens even if it were a just couple of inches away from the front lens element.
