Issues with DDPAI Z60 Pro Dash Cam

Hello,

I recently purchased a DDPAI Z60 Pro dash cam (about 5–7 days ago), and I have been experiencing several issues. I would appreciate your assistance in resolving them.

Here are the problems I am experiencing:

  1. When I start the car, the dash cam turns on but then shuts off and restarts 1–2 times before finally turning on properly on the third attempt.
  2. When the device starts recording, it initially says it is recording to the external memory card. However, after about 10–30 seconds, it switches and says it is recording to internal memory.
  3. After about 30 minutes of driving, when I stop the car and try to review the videos via my phone, I can only see the front camera footage recorded at the very beginning (startup). The rest of the front camera recordings are missing. However, all rear camera recordings appear to be saved correctly.
I have attached the relevant settings and screenshots for your reference.

Could you please help me resolve these issues? If needed, I am open to updating or downgrading the firmware—please advise on the correct steps to fix these problems.

Hello there,

Thanks for reaching out, and thanks to Chunk for tagging us.

Based on your description, the issue is likely caused by the memory card speed. We noticed you’re using a U1 card, which may not be sufficient for 4K recording on the Z60 Pro. We recommend using a U3 microSD card. That should resolve the issue.
