if a person could disconnect the camera from the windshield, take it in the house, plug it into a computer and access the menu.
It would be nice------

When you plug it into the USB-C port rather than the USB Power port, it enters "microSD Card Reader Mode".
I see no way to bring the menu mode up from there.

- More than my wife thinks I need.
Two solutions -
1. Use a 'charge only' cable or adapter so the data lines on the camera are disabled which is what is causing it to go into 'data mode'.
2. Don't use the computer as a power source, instead use a USB (ie. cell phone) charger.
