ITB-100HD v2.2/2.1FW 12Mbps adjustable bitrate mod + fix & MPH versions

Sadly I gave up on this.... it worked for a while, then one day I got some random beeps, and even holding mic to format the card wouldn't fix it - I had to turn the cam off to stop the beeps, or put up with them and hope it recorded.

Switching back to stock firmware, the problem went away and didn't come back. I really REALLY wanted this to work, but stable camera is the most important thing for me.

Was there any further updates to the mod?

BTW, This occured on fw2.1. I kept away from 2.2 in case that was the reason for other peoples problems.
 
Update: Read the beginning of the post and see I need to create a bitrate.txt file in setup to change the bitrate.
Still having issues with the card filling up...

Hello successfully flashed the updates to 2.1 with MPH and 12mbps-recording is working and I see index.txt & info.txt in the setup folder.
Trouble is card fills up and camera stops recording & starts beeping.
If I delete some videos all is good.
Do I need to install the 180mb_spacecheck for old recordings to auto delete?
If I'm not quite sure I understand how to incorporate this.
Also If I want to change the mbps can I edit this?
