Just installed a N5 in my car

So i just yanked the memory card in the N5 as my car are in the shop now, and wouldn't you know the old Sillicon power elite card (rainbow / multi color ) seem to work just fine, and it is only U1 / XC 1 rated.
I got a nifty Kia niro as a loaner meanwhile, daum i could get used to driving that VS my " old " POS little Suzuki, okay the automatic is not a favorite of mine as i am that old school, actually in 40 years i think i have driven something auto for 1-2 hours, and most of that was a rental truck.
BUT ! A old dog can of course always learn new tricks, and the AUT transmission its not like its a para dime shift, just i am so used to drive a manual.
Sooooo much electronics in that damn car, the seat slide back to facilitate easy entry / exit ASO, and P brake is just a button, i dont dare to really nerd out on it, and no need to as i will have to return it tomorrow.
Steering wheel so light, i feel like i can steer it by blowing on either side of the wheel to make it turn, make me remebber my first car the 1967 Volvo 121 with 0 power steering and the huge steering wheel replaced by a 9 " one, so my thin arms really got a workout back then.

Okay i had something weird happen with the N5 recordings from the front camera, wanted to compile a drive video driving to my friends house at night during a snowfall.
And everything is fine, aside for a couple of files in the middle of it all, towards the end, their file size are much smaller for some reason, resolution / bitrate check out just fine, and it is also 3 minute segments, CUZ dropping them on the time line of my video editor program those files are the same physical size as all the other files.

Okay it seem like i am at the end of my 256GB memory card collection, that is somehow it seem like i have lost my blue PRO plus Samsung card.
But i have just put in the last not tested card in the N5 and that6 is the no longer made purple WD card ( not QD101 branded )
Mind you,,,,,, right now i am going to order 1-2 new cards 😉

Okay the time have finally come and the N5 have chewed itself thru my collections of 256 GB memory cards.
Currently the Samsung pro plus are in the camera and it is the last one i have to feed it, so far it seem to like it, but otherwise the list look like this.

It have been a pleasure running the N5 in the past year, or you would have of course heard from me more often.
But really this system have just chugged along, and only a few times puked out the memory card as it did not like them, but 2 cards failing out of 15 i feel is damn good, you can find other brands where only 2 out of 15 would work.
So the little 4 channel Uber / ride share camera have done a fine job for what it is, it will for sure remain in my car until i get something new to replace it, and things have changed in the past year like always so at least on individual cameras there are better alternatives now.
The N5 having its HDR on the rear camera and not the front have been a let down for me, but that do not mean the system is garbage just i have seen others review / use other systems that seem better at least in regard to the sole front camera performance.
It is what it is, but must be mentioned when you are punching upwards.
Most of the month in the past year i have run my car without the rear view mirror to be able to gauge the front interior camera, CUZ otherwise where i put it the mirror would be in the way, that is a simple limitation in the 2 in 1 unit systems, or at least a limitation when you like me insist on having the cameras up high and in the middle of the windscreen, and i dont like to offset to either side and i cant put it lower than the mirror as that would then be illegal in accordance to the Danish traffic code.
It will be interesting to see if i get something new, or i sooner or later will have to whip out the card and go shopping suffering from Fear Of Missing Out.
PS. i thought i had lost my Samsung PRO Plus card, but turn out i had forgotten to take it out of the Viofo mini, so it have been sitting in there for a year doing nothing.
And i thought i had put the viofo mini in its original packaging, but somehow i put a old SG camera in here instead 😳
