All,
Since fitting and hardwiring my DRV-A601W with the official kit, I have been having various electrical niggles for months, that I have only now tracked down due to fitment of the dash cam.
I've hard wired it into the headlight 20a fuse in the fuse box, and recently changed it to the 20a starter motor fuse.
I am getting issues of EML's during cold starts, and issues regarding headlight systems while driving, while dash cam is connected and powered. I ran the car for 2 months without the dash cam, and saw none of the issues.
What other options do I have? Try another fuse? Hardwire straight into battery?
