I purchased a Kkmoon dash cam 1080 and it doesn't charge with USB cable or when plugged in the car.
couldn't locate any support site on the internet. instructions are very vague on the settings.
 
Try another cable, another charger and another car. If still not working try to return it and buy a dashcam with a good feedback on this forum.

Dashcams have very little batteries that are not really meant for recording, they are just there to make sure the last file can be properly finalized in case of a crash.

In the car the camera should just turn and start to record when you plug in power or start the car with the camera already plugged in.

Assuming you are using the provided PSU in the car ?
