Loading new firmware to NextBase 622GW

Warm greetings!
I have just bought a NextBase 622W that arrived today.
The the firmware download is taking ages.
The message on my iPhone is:-

"Looking for Dash Cam please wait.
The dash cam will restart automatically....
Finishing Firmware Update, please wait"

It is still strobing at the bottom of the phone screen, a purple line.
For well over an hour now.

Any advice will be greatly received.
 
Just to add that the Cam screen was on to start with then it went blank during 'Download'.
Just Blue dot light showing on the Cam.
