My 412 automatically locks the files as soon as it is turned on is there a setting that will stop this happening

if you turn the G-Sensor off in the settings does it still happen?

It seems to be every time it’s put into parking mode it happens

Hi Glen,
Parking Mode will set all files to record as Protected Files when it's activated by the G-sensor.
Are your regular files also being Protected, or just when you activate Parking Mode and it's recording a Parking Mode clip?

Mine does it if I go over a pot hole speed bump etc...
