Dash Cam
BlackVue DR900x-Plus in 2022 Palisade replaced the 650
I have just hardwired in my BlackVue 900x Plus but am not trusting the voltage cutoff that runs the parking mode. So, looking to run the parking mode off a separate battery. The OEM solutions are kind of expensive and I would be happy enough for a battery that only kept the cameras working for a coupe of hours.
So, anyone with thoughts/experience with a non OEM solution.
Thank you for your time

I can recommend powerbanks from RAVpower or PowerADD. Both companies offer excellent, well made products, good service and warranties. They compare favorably with Anker but generally sell for less. I would recommend something in the 20,000 mAh range. This would run a dash cam for an entire day if you needed it to.

Thanks, seems the RAVpower link has been compromised and jumps to some other site https://ca.taotronics.com/

That's very weird. Not sure what is going on with the link. When I click on the link in my post, it takes me to the powerbank page on RAVpower's web site, as intended. Perhaps there's some sort of security issue on your computer that is redirecting the link?

Here is the link directly so you can try it again.

Must be a browser thing on my end.. the new link does the same thing, I see the RAVpower site for perhaps a second and am re-directed. Will try the link in another browser.

You very likely have a virus that you'll need to eliminate from your computer, otherwise you will continue to experience problems and risk security breaches.

Must be a browser thing on my end....
What computer OS are you running (Windows, iOS, etc.) and what security software?

This is happening on a Macbook Air M1 with the latest operating system, latest version updated just yesterday. I get the same results with both Chrome (Google) and Safari browsers. Just downloaded Malwarebytes and it shows zero infections. But the highjacking is still there.
No extra security software.

I get the same result when using my iPad, so am for now I’m going with a it’s a cookie thing synced to all my devices.

I don't know that cookies have anything to do with it but if your devices are synced, (possibly via iCloud) the infection could have spread to your iPad.

It sounds like you have a significant malware infection that you really need to get a handle on. If you can't find a way to deal with this yourself I'd suggest going to a local Mac store or specialist.
