I'm trying to understand if the a119m pro actually has the LPID (since @Vortex Radar had mentioned the arrival of this function in one of his videos) but I haven't found any information about it, can anyone tell me for sure?

I'm currently using a vantrue e1 pro but with the collision detection mode I often find myself with the car battery at too low a voltage after only 10-12 hours of parking.

(The car is parked on the street and the G sensor is very Sensitive so it records many clips)

Would I be able with the a119m pro and the LPID to have collision detection without the thought of the low battery for a reasonable time? (>24+ hours)

@Vortex Radar in your opinion With the future update you're talking about, will I be able to keep the car on the road with LPID active without fear of a dead battery?

And also how do I know when LPID will be implemented?

You should be able to avoid dead batteries even without it, so long as you have proper voltage management. Using timers helps too. Personally I prefer using dedicated dashcam batteries to further mitigate the risk, but of course that adds cost.

LPID is great for longer term parking mode, but you still want to properly set your voltage cut-offs either way.

I'm not sure when LPID will be available. Maybe Viofo will make an announcement here on the site, on social media, on their website, or wherever else you check for updates.
