Male & Female extension Mini USB-b Cable

I've been hunting on the net for a extension mini usb - b to mini usb - b type cable male connector at one end female at the other. I need a minimum of 2 metre length as I have just purchased a Street Guardian SGZC12RC-V2 for the front of the car and I'm relegating my old Mini 0801 to the rear windscreen and the mini usb cable for that is too short. The Mini 0801 is already hardwired to the fuse box at front behind glove box and a extension usb cable would save messing around with the wiring again.

I seem to be having difficulty sourcing the required extension cable over 1.2 mtr (too short) and wonder if the members know of such a place where I might pick one up. I'm in the UK.

Can't you buy 2 1.2m cables and join them?

Your right, two or more 1.2 m cables is the answer. I was too busy concentrating trying to find a single cable length I never thought about it. I don't think I'll be appearing on the Krypton Factor soon
