Memory Card Compatibility

Is anyone having issues/success with certain brands?

I'm having issues with the SanDisk Ultra 32GB to be recognized by the cam. I ran the h2testw test without any errors. Tried the SD Association formatter with no results. Tried different memory card readers. It would only sometimes work after turning it on/off numerous times. Doesn't matter which slot it's in or if the cam is in auto/manual select mode.

However, I am having luck with the Transcend Premium 300x 32GB. It works right off the bat in either slot.

I've been using a Samsung Evo 64GB and Transcend 64GB card with no issue.

SanDisk are great cards but can be finicky in some cameras, if the Transcend cards are working for you I'd say stick with those

Sandisk is known to cause issues.
I used a-data, gskill, Samsung, microcenter brand and no problem on any of them.

I haven't actually seen many reports of it causing problems with the mini 0806, but maybe most people have taken the advice to put it at the bottom of the list!

Samsung Evo for me if you want a cheapish card and Samsung Pro for a long service life or a genuinely quick card. Or the Lexar 633x comes with a really nice USB3 microSD card reader and long life (probably).

Main thing is to make sure it is genuine, "upgraded" cards never work.

As with my camera, seems that root of issues are exactly Samsung Evo Class 10 64GB card.
