Minor Skateboard/van collision

My backseat was full of children so I opted not to stop, but it was also obvious that the skater wasn't hurt.

The skateboarder was riding in the van's blind spot, it looks like. Probably not the van driver's fault, but I don't know for sure.

i figure since the skate boarder was behind the van he should of been aware and yielded to the van, especially since the van had it's turn signal on and was encroaching into the bike lane.

In my opinion the Van driver didn't had a chance to see the scater

I'm glad that nothing happens.

Maybe you should have stopped and give the van driver your contact details isn't it in the USA very dangerous to get sued for something like that even if there aren't any big injuries?

Maybe I should of and was thinking about it, but i doubt any damage at all was done unless the skate boarder broke something pounding on the vehicle. I had 3 young children in the back seat and decided there would be little point to stop for that… Thanks for watching.
