Missing Minutes !!

Hi,

On my daughters 2 channel Thinkware Q200, there seems to be minutes missing. I thought this would be recording every minute.

Just fitted a new Thinkware 128GB SD card.

See attached example of the recordings all on one journey and there are gaps.

I have the same Fashcam fitted and mine records every minute.

Have I got a setting wrong somewhere on hers ?

Is it possible the "missing minutes" are in a different file folder?
Like event, or emergency folder?

I'll have a deeper dive into the files. I thought if I just pick Front or Back or ALL, especially ALL, I'd see ALL 😂

I think I will have to check each setting in my daughter's Dashcam against my settings and see if there's anything different.

Normally I only have her car for an hour or so to do the usual "Daddy Safety Checks" but I have it for a few days this time, so I'm sure I'll spot what's going on.

Have you tried checking the set privacy settings in the dash cam settings?

What is Privacy Recording​

Privacy Recording is a new feature that erases the SD card for your privacy, constantly looping over existing footage and storing only a limited-time backlog.

Make sure the set privacy recording is disabled https://support.thinkware.com/hc/en-us/articles/17547043200787-Set-Privacy-Recording

Cheers, I spotted that option and have turned it off, I'll check the footage again 👍

Just done a test drive after changing this setting and its now recording every minute with no gaps. A thank you to our Thinkware friend in 🇨🇦.
