Mobius Super Capacitor.

Update. I installed a capacitor in my oldest Mobius cam 11 years 2 months ago. It starts recording when the engine is started. It holds date & time correctly, & saves the last file after the engine is switched off. It’s in use around 5 days a week.

My other Mobius retired from service when it’s capacitor failed after 7 years 5 months. I considered buying a replacement capacitor, but decided against it. This Mobius owes me nothing, & will serve as a source of spare parts (if needed in the future) for the one that continues to work perfectly.

Hi friends! More than 3 years after I wrote the above, all I can say is that the Mobius B capacitor is still working! And so does the front dash am, ie Viofo WR1!

Russ has changed the text over the years, and does reply from time to time, although the last change was 4 years ago!

I guess copy & paste does the job, with minor edits.

Not a bot. No point spending any more time than necessary in reporting on what is essentially an antique. I may be wasting my time here. Does anyone care about these monthly reports? If not I’m happy to stop.
 
I'm glad you have kept this thread going Russ, I started it near on 12 years ago and I still use the original mobius with a telephoto lens as my second camera, but if you wish to stop reporting, go ahead mate.
