mph/kph issue

My bad, mine is the same. I forgot the actual options in the Stamp menu. I turned GPS stamp on and it is now showing the correct speed and all in mph.

You need to extract the bin file from the .7z file, Google and download 7zip for that.

This problem is a factory fault, now it can not be solved even you update the cam

I've cracked it!

I had the problem of the E-PRANCE dashcam recording Km/H and labelling it MPH. I purchased it as a 0803 but found that it had a resolution setting of ‘2560x1080p 30fps 21:9’ so it was in fact 0805. It had firmware 20141112 v1.0 installed

The Chinese company was useless but I downloaded file 20141204_A7_0805_GPS_1CARD.7z from https://dashcamtalk.com/mini-0805/#Firmware and unpacked it using, open source (free) ‘7z’ tool (Courtesy TerryUK above).

Copied the unpacked files 'firmware.bin' and 'amboot_hal_kernel_romfs_dsp_release.elf' to the chip in my camera (I’m not sure that the latter was necessary).
On start-up I OK’d the upgrade and the problem is cured. The firmware is now version 20141204 and I have a menu item to set the speed units to MPH, Km/H or off. I set it to MPH and it now records the speed, in MPH, more accurately than my speedo which indicates a speed 10% too high.
