My GS8000L firmware say GS8000D

Hi;

This is my first post here. Just got this dash cam

I ordered a GS8000L and that is what the box says. Firmware is GS8000D-P1-151113. Sounds wrong. Did I get an old model or a copy?

The manual is tiny and mostly unreadable. but if anyone has info I'd really appreciate it.

can't say for sure based on the info provided but the GS8000L is the version to avoid
