Hi there. First time poster. Thanks to Dash Cam Talk it helped me purchase an LS300W from FoxOffer.
First thing to say is that FoxOffer were very easy to deal with and my camera arrived in the UK within 8 days of ordering.
I purchased the 32GB memory card from FoxOffer as part of the package.
The camera arrived well packaged and in good condition.
I was pleasantly surprised with how small the camera is. It really is quite tiny and therefore fits nicely behind the rear view mirror.
There isn't really any configuration required, other than setting the time and date. The camera is intuitive to use, and if you have any problems you can refer to the handy fold-out instruction card which is written in both Chinese (presumably Mandarin?) and English.
I didn't have the battery or audio problems that some have mentioned on the forum. The microphone is very sensitive and the battery maintains its charge a decent period of time.
I also didn't experience any problems with the camera freezing, but I suspect that is because I am using a 'compatible' SD card.
The IR function doesn't actually look like IR to me. Just a regular white light on the front of the camera with an effective range of about 2m, so I keep that turned off. The camera works very well at night without this anyway, so I don't see it as a drawback.
The quality of the video is comparable to the demo videos I saw prior to purchasing.
The camera is very sensitive to low light levels and so the range of the camera at night is excellent - even on dark country roads without streetlights.
I discovered that the car charger interferes with FM radio slightly. Not all the time, but when the radio signal is weak, the charger knocks the radio off the air completely. This isn't a problem with the camera as I have tested the camera when operating on battery only, and it does not cause radio interference. I'm going to look into purchasing another charger cable.
Overall for the price I am very pleased with this purchase and I would definitely consider buying from FoxOffer again in the future.
