My Mobius cam videos have a dark spot on the top right corner. Is there any way to fix that?

Probably a speck of dust in the lens, probably just on the back of the lens, in which case it should be possible to disassemble the camera and blow it off with an air jet. Might be on the front?

Might be something growing on the lens if you live in a damp location, I don't know the area, maybe you have a lot of fog and the camera gets damp?

If you blow off the sensor with compressed air, remember to hold the camera upside down so that whatever gets dislodged from the sensor falls out instead of just ending up somewhere else inside the lens module.

Be careful to hold the can of air fairly level or you risk shooting propellant onto your sensor and you don't want that.

If there is mold or some other contaminant on the sensor you should consider investing in a sensor cleaning kit which will allow you to physically wipe the sensor clean. Follow the directions carefully so you don't damage the sensor if you go this route.

There are different types of sensor cleaners some are water based and some are purely chemical. The chemical ones may be better at killing off any mold the might be growing on your sensor but they tend to be more expensive.

Finally, you could simply invest in a new lens module from Mobiuis which is one of the wonderful things about the camera platform.

Amazon sells a variety of sensor cleaning products that also come with the proper tools for the job but the Mobius lens module is tiny compared to most typical cameras so make sure whatever you purchase has tools that will fit inside. Many of the tools can be trimmed with a clean scissors, though. In a worse case scenario you could remove the housing which will give you direct unimpeded access to the sensor.

Thanks for the tips, guys. Problem is I don't see how to access the rear surface of the lens. I see a tiny hex screw on the lens carrier; do I have to unscrew it?

The camera should have come with a small hex wrench that will fit the bung screw on the lens holder. Loosen the screw but not all the way. Then unscrew the lens all the way until it comes out. (When you put it back in you will need to refocus the lens - more on that later)

Once the lens is removed use a flashlight or lamp to look inside and you will see the sensor. You may be able to see what is causing the problem. Also look at the back of the lens, It is possible that mold has grown on the rear element and just needs to be cleaned off.

If your camera didn't ship with a set of AV cables you will need to buy a set so that you can hook your camera up to a monitor or TV so you can refocus the lens once you clean the sensor and put the lens back in.

I am assuming here that you have a Mobius 1 camera or a Mobius 1S but they all more or less work the same way.
