Near-miss

This brought back memories of my very first car accident, and I learned right there and then that just because someone waves you on doesn't mean that its safe to just go.

I almost had that yesterday.
There was a bus stopped on the right lane.
I was on the left lane and a driver from side street almost made a left turn as he couldn't see me due to the bus.
Thankfully, it stopped in the middle of right lane before the bus.

My buddy got a helicopter ride after the exact same situation, but less fortunate conclusion. Luckily, the hospital found no injury and he only had to replace his brand new car.
