New Low Light SLL1 Mobius camera

Did you 3D print those wedge mounts? If someone sold those I would probably buy quite a few.
I found an STL file online for a wedge, then adjusted the width to accommodate a 3M VHB strip and adjusted the angle to match my car's windscreen. I found a UK company who printed a pair of wedges for £12, including postage.

EDIT: i would have expected newer mobius to have a APP for doing settings.
The Mobius Maxi series is WiFi-capable and has a companion app. The SLL has gone back to the old ways of adjusting settings with a config file, or mSetup. I don't know if Mobius have the internal capability to develop mobile apps. The Maxi app sometimes seemed to be clunky and unreliable.

If anyone is wondering, it is possible to get a live view from the SLL using your phone and an OTG cable and a compatible app. I use one called USB Camera.

Does the OTG cable functionality mean that it works as a webcam like the Mobius 1? I haven't gotten my 1S to work as a webcam so I wonder if they decided to re-add the capability with the SLL1

Yes, it could be used as a webcam. I'm not entirely sure if that is with audio - I'd have to check.

I tried (unsuccessfully) to use a windows emulator on an android phone in order to run msetup....

If you have one of the newer Mobius phones cameras with OTG capability, you may be able to edit the configuration text file on your phone. It's probably a slow process but it might work.

Mobius SLL - Brief Intro
I don't have time to start a proper thread on this right now, but I suppose I can share some info for anyone who might be interested.

The SLL is a curious combination of ideas and after more than a year of testing various FW iterations, I'm still not sure who it's target customer is!

It's like a low light capable cctv camera (without IR), with a battery which makes it portable, in a waterproof case. It has no screen or Wi-Fi, unlike most consumer cameras, so you can't see in real time what the video looks like (webcam mode isn't using the same parameters). The fast lens combined with large pixels on the 2MP sensor is good at seeing in very low light levels, but without HDR it really struggles with highlights.

I have used mine to record the aurora in 'real-time'. I've used it as a waterproof dashcam on my bicycle. Soon I'm hoping to try and record a timelapse of the Milky Way. I don't use it as a car dashcam, although it could be useful in parking mode in places without street lights. I've tried it underwater on a selfie stick but the pond was too cloudy to see anything.

I'll try to record some video samples on the latest FW to show what the SLL can and cannot do, with comparisons to the Mobius Maxi 4K (F1.5 lens) or Vantrue E1 Pro (4K IMX678) if I think they're relevant.

Interesting:

Oops, I meant cameras, not phones. Interesting though not at all related.

by the form factor alone (and being waterproof), it looks like those ''Scopecam'' made to be installed on airsoft rifles (e.g. like these Runcam cameras)
Lacking a zoom lens and picatinny rail slots though.
