I am a new member here, and I have used thos site to determine what dashcam to purchase (thanks). I just wanted to say 'hi' and look forward to interacting with fellow members.

Greetings my fellow dash cam owner. You did get a nice dash cam. Just make sure that you get a nice super fast sdhc card for the camera. Sandisk has a 16gig and 32gig sdhc ultra pro card that claim to be for 3D video and read 96MBps. If you read around, the 32 gig is actually slow in real world read and writes. The 16 gig was he fastest of the bunch, clocking in at 76MBps read and 68MBps write. Most class 10 cards are actually slower than their rating. So, what ever card you get, make sure it reads and writes faster than 20MBps minimum for 1080p.

Awesome, thanks AD I didn't know that! The eBay sale (got mine from apple-ct) says it comes with an SD card, I would suspect it is sufficent but I suppose it makes sense to verify first rather than assume and be SOL later. I read your posts after making my purchase, but was pleased to see I made the right choice. While $316 is a lot for it's purpose, I didn't want to spend $100 on some China junk that was uglier than a Klingon from Star Trek TNG!!! (DVR 027 for example lol). When I can swing the same coin again I will be getting another one for my rear window.
