New Version of Mini Spotted on FCC.IO

Apparently the 4th Generation (??) (judging by FCC name?) of the Mini has now abandoned HiSilicon and now uses SigmaStar SSC333.

The SoC spec sheet was dated November 2020, so not all stock would have changed over to this. The SoC has a Cortex A7 CPU, H.265 encoder up to 3MP / 20 fps, embedded 64MB RAM. The circuit board is very much simplified because of high integration.

I wonder if this version introduces proper 3-wire HWK parking mode support (instead of just relying in G sensor to "sleep" into parking mode).

OMG. So undisciplined in product naming. The FCC doesn't care as long as the name is unique.

MINI(1)v4 like MINI(1)v3 has micro SD TF card slot for Class 10 up to 128GB.

Manuals don't describe parking behavior. Online product instructions are also undisciplined/generic and not product-specific, as MINI3 information references removable TF card, but AFAIK the MINI3 only has built-in memory. Real parking mode behavior should be on the sales information.

Product information online as of 2022-01-03 says:

FWIW, the DDPAI Official Store on Aliexpress only has a 2 wire hardwire power kit listed for the MINI(1) whatever version is current.

So maybe there are no MINI(1)v4 produced yet....

2AJFX-4MINI at FCC dated 2021-11-08 is MINI(1)v4.
2AJFX-MINI at FCC dated 2020-08-07 is MINI(1)v3.
2AJFX-MINI2 at FCC dated 2017-06-09 looks like a MINI(1)v2 in silver and no micro SD card slot . Was there ever a real MINI2???
