Hi All.
Help needed please!!
My wife and I both have the 422gw's professionally fitted, both have rear cameras, both the same type and brand of sd card and the settings on the cam are configured exactly the same (parking mode 'ON', Auto power off 'OFF'). It has worked brilliantly for years since we had them, right until the last few weeks. The one in my car works well.
The one on my wife's car was locking up always on start up seemingly every 1 to 3 days. She does some quite long runs.
The cam resets easily enough but locks again on start up after 1 to 3 days.
I've done a 'deep format' using the correct format type of the micro SD card and still the same issue. I've bought a new sd card for the faulty cam. Still the same issue.
So, I swapped her cam and my cam over in each other cars. My cam works great in her car now (eliminating wiring and rear cam issues in her car i assume) and the one from her car that's now in mine has the locking up on start up issue it had when in my wife's car. A fair assumption that the issue is the camera then.
I've not updated the firmware, (I'm not too confident doing this yet, but my thought process is why do this when it was working fine until a few weeks ago?) However, it's on version R21.8.
Any help to fix this issue would be greatly appreciated.
