My trusty 522, just decided after sitting unused for a few months to refuse to record.
Brand new SanDisk Max Endurance 128 gb and a brand new Nextbase 64 gb card made no difference.
New 502030 internal battery as well, still no difference.
Reset to factory defaults, formatted the card in the camera, out of the camera etc.
Reset via the external button ... No difference.
All it does is turn on and go to the live view screen with the record button bottom left and the gear Icon top left.
All setup screens work, rear camera add on works... but as soon as you hit the record icon it starts recording 0.1 second and the chimes twice and returns to
the initial screen..
Once or twice I have do a default reset, card reformat, power off, card in and out and sort of every combination in-between and it does start recording..
But after a few 1 minute cycles it freezes...
The SW is the latest as well.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated .. Rgs Steve
