Hello Dash Cam Talkers :)

We're currently working on introducing something called Nextbase Assist which is aimed at improving troubleshooting if/when you need to contact us.

This will be a feature added to all models in our current range, this range can be found here:

There will be shortcuts to access the SD card information, firmware and battery level on screen: this information can also be sent to us quickly if you are using the Cam Viewer App or the Replay 3 program (or read out to us over the phone if you don't use these programs).

The idea is - if you're experiencing something out of the ordinary we can view this information and quickly tell you what is causing the symptoms. This will reduce the amount of questions we ask, making the whole process smarter and smoother.

Would you find this feature useful?

Would the process of asking for help be made better if we asked less questions and could take all the information we need straight from the device for you?

Nice idea ,just as long as it doesn't impact on device performance.
May save a lot of time and explaining.

It would definitely speed things up when it comes to finding a solution to an issue.

That was my thought Tiffany. Info saved like a note in Microsoft's way of doing things in system crashes.
 
Would be good to have it create a *.txt log file with the required data so that the users are not limited to the cam or Replay 3 to read it? As you know, a *.txt file can be read by pretty much anything that will take an SD card.
