Nextbase issue

Hi all

if this has been asked elsewhere I cant find it ... so sorry but I have a NextBase Duo camera with front and rear cameras but the front does not record only the rear. the file is there but has zero bytes. Sometimes it works but mainly when the car is not in motion most of the time it doesn't record Is it something Im doing when the car is in motion?? glad for any help

Hi @smudger m4

What brand and size SD card do you have? Are you able to provide a photo of both sides of it?

How often have you been formatting the SD card?

What version of firmware is on the Dash Cam?

In order to check what version of firmware you're using;
please stop the camera recording then press menu twice,
scroll down to "system info" or "version" then press OK,
a black screen should pop up with a long text with R.. at the end.
Please tell me what numbers are after the R.
