No charging light?

Hi, i received my Git2 today but it seems that the camera is not charging and i cant power it on. Nothing happens, no charging light is blinking. I tried to connect the USB-cable to a pc and a standard-charger, put the battery out and in again, pushed every button... nothing happens.

Can someone give me a hint what else i can try? or is it a doa?

Do you have a sjcam battery for a test ? Try another usb cable. Also if you have access to a voltmeter measure the git battery.

i will test the battery this weekend. dont have a sjcam battery... and yes, i already tried another usb-cable

try to plug your camera in another usb source , like a tv , bluray , gaming console . . . anything that you can plug your usb cable that will give you the good voltage. Sometime my computer is not working properly with the usb port.

Try to manually press the battery after taking out the battery cover to be sure for good contacts. In this time try to power on camera or charge it.
